Jennifer Alessi holds a BA in English from Columbia University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alaska. An affiliate editor for Alaska Quarterly Review, she has published essays in Critical Read, Hippocampus, Motherwell, River Teeth, and elsewhere. After decades of city living, she recently returned to Cape Cod, where she enjoys exploring nature with her daughter.
