Emily Robbins

Emily Robbins is the author of the novel, A Word for Love (Penguin/Riverhead 2017), which was inspired by her time as a Fulbright Fellow in Syria, where she lived with the family of a leading intellectual and studied with a women’s mosque movement.  Her nonfiction has appeared in The New York Times and on the Modern Love Podcast.  She now lives in Gainesville, FL.
