Dawn McCombs is a poet and essayist currently based in Columbus, Ohio. Her work appears in The Audacity, Khora Magazine, Chicago Story Press, Vernacular and she recently won the 2026 Fractured and Fused Prize by Fractured Lit. When not writing she dreams of living in a van and setting herself free.
