About the Author

Paula Sutor

Paula Sutor is an artist, musician and paraeducator living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She discovered comics in 2024. She has taken classes at Sequential Artist Workshop and the School of Visual Arts; “Bloom” was developed in a graphic memoir class taught by Amy Kurzweil.

Paula writes from her experience as a mother, an adoptee, and an artist, and explores the ways these roles shape one another.
