Faye Harnest makes comics about grief, parenthood, and disability. She is drawing a graphic memoir about having a brain injury, parts of which have appeared in Crucial Comix’s Tired AF zine, and have been shortlisted for the upcoming 2026 Graphic Medicine International Collective’s Short Form Comic award, and won Solstice’s Magazine’s 2025 Graphic Literature award. Her comics have also appeared in anthologies and magazines including SICK, Feels, and The Gutter. Her soft sculptures and comics have exhibited in galleries across North America. Faye is from Canada and now lives in Brooklyn with her partner and 6-year-old son.
