Mothers take the mic at Portland’s Lit Crawl, sharing funny, feminist, world shaking stories that demythologize the traditional position of “mom.” We’ll also have interactive projects for the audience, including submissions of your own stories about trying to make art with kids, which we’ll bring up onstage to share.

Unchaste as a MUTHA is a collaboration between Brooklyn-based Mutha magazine and Portland, Oregon’s Unchaste Readers series. Unchaste is about promoting writing that shows the raw, vulnerable, ecstatic, complicated lives of women. Mutha magazine explores real-life motherhood, from every angle, at every stage.
