64 CRAYONS: Comics by Summer Pierre

64CRAYONS

Crayons are probably one of the worst art supplies you can use—they are waxy, hard to control and can break easily. I think the only reasons we give them to kids are that they don’t stain, are cheap as heck and WE were given them. Even so, I highly recommend spending an afternoon with a fresh box all your own.  The smell and textures of crayons are so visceral and inspired not only this comic, but a few other art pieces just by the associations I felt in using them. Just so you know, Gus took back his present the next day. What a sucker I am!
